DUSKLINE · LEGAL
Privacy Policy
A clear explanation of what stays in your browser and what is sent to weather providers.
Effective August 27, 2026
What Duskline stores
Duskline has no accounts, profiles, advertising identifiers, or private dashboard. Your language, unit preference, favorites, cached responses, and an approximate saved location may be stored locally in your browser. This information is not uploaded to Duskline.
Location and weather requests
If you choose “Use my location,” your browser asks for permission. Duskline uses the result to request a forecast and rounds saved coordinates to reduce precision. You can deny permission, clear browser storage, or remove favorites at any time.
Weather requests are made directly by your browser to Open-Meteo and, for eligible U.S. forecasts and alerts, the U.S. National Weather Service. Those services receive the request information required to answer it and maintain their own privacy policies.
Hosting and third parties
Duskline is a static site hosted through deployment infrastructure. Hosting providers may process ordinary technical information such as an IP address, browser details, and request time for security and delivery. Duskline does not sell that information.
Changes and contact
This policy may be updated when the app or its providers change. The effective date above identifies the current version. For questions about this policy, contact the Duskline maintainer through the project’s public repository.
